DOREEN ALUMAYA

Doreen Alumaya, MPH, RDN, IBCLC, is a PhD student in Nutrition (Epidemiology minor) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her work focuses on maternal and child nutrition, infant and young child feeding, breastfeeding support, and nutrition in emergencies, with experience spanning research, program implementation, and qualitative and quantitative methods in global health settings. She is also the founder of Moiga Pearl Springs Academy in Uganda and collaborates with humanitarian and academic partners to strengthen health and nutrition systems.
